St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner which has many thinking of Irish songs.  Here are a few tunes on my Irish sing-along list for older adults I will be sharing in the Hays, KS area during my Music Therapy sessions:

  • My Bonnie
  • Too-ra-loo-ra
  • Four Leaf Clover
  • When Irish Eyes are Smiling
  • Peg )’ My Heart
  • Danny Boy
  • Cockles and Mussels
  • Sweet Rosie O’Grady
  • My Wild Irish Rose
  • It’s a Long Way to Tipperary
  • Who Threw the Overalls in Mrs. Murphy’s Chowder

Feel free to suggest others.  I love opportunities to learn new music.  As I won’t be sharing Irish tunes with preschoolers this year, I’ve attached a couple related articles as a resource.
